I have been teaching biology since 2015 — from school classrooms at The Educators and National Garrison Secondary School to college lectures at MTB, Concordia, Oxbridge and Superior College.
I led the Biology Department at Concordia College from 2020 to 2023, and today I head the Biology Department at Superior College, where I also work as a lab researcher and medical officer. Alongside teaching I do research — including a published study on phenotypic plasticity in the rubber bush (Calotropis procera) along an altitudinal gradient.
Through BioQuest by Umar I share free lectures and quick revision shorts for F.Sc and MDCAT students, so every student can learn biology concept by concept.
